England outlawed slavery in the 19th century and actively fought and stopped those that were in the business of slavery.

Back in the day it wasn't like there was one country enslaving another, it was a world wide business and England stood up to the world to stop it. England has already had it's anti-slavery moment, it took place over a hundred years ago and since then we have been against it.

There were African tribes capturing and selling people to slavers, do you want them to pay as well, and who do you want them to pay?

The Chinese and Persians also took slaves from Africa, they castrated them.

Pulling down statues and washing over history is going to do more to help people to forget that it ever happened, we should leave the statues up and educate people so that we know to never ever let it happen again.

Taking away someone's freedom without reason and trading in people's misery is about as bad as it gets and I repeat, we should never let it happen again. Pulling down statues is another step in the direction of helping people forget that it ever happened and if we can't learn from the past then we are in danger of repeating it.

Last comment on this subject from me;) humans are almost clones of each other. For example to apes are always more genetically different than any two humans and they basically do the same in life due to most being born in to similar situations. So it’s very easy to judge people for their mistakes, when if born in the same situation, we may do very similar things. It’s very easy to say how wrong things were and are from the we have everything we need perspective that we look from nowadays in developed countries anyway. Is this anyway to run a business? This sucks so badly I feel like a kid again ripped off and there's little I can do about it. I have extended my order, but am unsure of what to do from this point? I can see TGT hasn't logged in for 3 days now. But I also see people complaining here with the same issue which is fueled by the complete lack of comms and not knowing if I'll get my money back. What an absolute ballache.

not to mention the significantly larger percentage of land and crops required to make animal products when compared to making plant based products, you are actually drastically increasing the amount of 'farm work' required to make animal products when you have to feed livestock the majority of your crops

maybe also look into the vast amount of ongoing exploitation and slavery in animal agriculture and meat processing factories.

Interesting topic! Although admittedly, a little puerile. I though we were perhaps past the point of making mass and crass generalisations about large groups of people.

Firstly- arable farming does occasionally require cheap labour- and in certain horrific situations people are exploited and enter into slavery. The same goes for your weed, the clothes people buy, the phone you probably wrote your original post on. Surely a monetary based framework for structuring global society is to blame, and not simply people who don’t want to be complicit in killing and eating dead things when it isn’t necessary?

Secondly, a defence of veganism could be that a corrupt arable farm perpetuates slavery- most do not.

All abbatoirs kill, corrupt or not, and could be the reason why these morally superior vegans justify their sense of superiority- in my experience, most, and include myself here, really couldn’t give a shit about what you eat mate! Have at it!!!! :-)

The environmental impact of a meat heavy diet, and the various links to different types of cancer do speak for themselves.

From a moral viewpoint- i personally require a type of newly developed medication that did a shit load of testing on animals. Loads. My decision not to eat meat was based on that. A load of animals have died to keep me alive- it just seemed reasonable to avoid killing any more if i can.

Do you have data on the number of farms exposed as utilising slave labour? It would be a good starting off point to gauge the ratio you keep asking about.

I have never entered an KFC or ordered from them. Stopped eating fast food a long time ago due to health reasons. Even went 5 years or so without meat and dairy.
Having lived through that ordeal I mastered the topic of food and health, at least in my case.
Btw, Im all for closing down big industry meat production and I support only small local sustainable production of food, not just meat.

Good point, although consciousness is actually immeasurable as it’s subjective… there are ways of measuring intelligence, but that’s a different thing, and academics struggle to agree on how it can be measured anyway…

That’s one of the philosophical arguments of Veganism- we can’t actually gauge human suffering against animal suffering because we have no way of measuring the suffering the animal endures.

Hi folks. I'm using the same kit for this, that I've been using for standard e-liquids & I'm struggling to get a good draw on the stuff. I've been reading up about all kinds of different kits (temperature/viscosity etc etc) & found two online so far.... The 'Canna Blast' vapouriser pen & the 'CBD-FX' vape kit. Does anyone have any knowledge of these, or can anyone recommend a reasonably priced alternative..?? Thanks.

Hi there. First of all, I wouldn't be put off trying this, it;s a nice 'smoke'. I bought a couple of Ccell ceramic cartridges C3, from Dabheadz (UK) at £3.99 each & they work a treat.
I've been trying all kinds mate, coz I l love my hash, but hate tobacco....
I can't answer the Q's about mg or average tokes, coz all that's down to the individual, but what I can say is this....
I bought a couple of the distillate/resin vapes (the strong one's - 90% ish thc). A couple of tokes of those & then using this vape to top up thru the evening, does me just fine.
It also works if I have about 15gm of gummy bear & then use this to 'top up' during the evening.
Don't be put off trying this.... By itself, it's a very calming 'buzz' & used as a 'top up', it's just the job.
let me know if you want any more info mate... I've been experimenting with different vapes for about 6 months now & I'll be buying this again. :-)

Just to add to that... The vape that I now use as the 'strong one', is the rosin cart from Serial Chiller Labs..... It's pure class (mind you, the others have been nice, but these one's are the future). :-)

I hope it works for you mate. I've not bought a bad product on here yet. Everything, for me, is designed to stop using tobacco. Having a spliff with a nice hash, has been a great pleasure over the years & really hard to give up.

The stronger distillate carts might seem really expensive at first, but when you weigh up the cost of hash & the cost of tobacco (price & health wise), they seem very affordable all of a sudden & using a decent strong cart, coupled with this juice and another (weaker one) that I bought on here, happy days mate. :-)

It took me months to find the right balance but, now I have, there's no going back.

Hi db! I'm really not an expert on vape pens/coils. I have a few different simple pens from aliexpress and I use a 510 thread ceramic coil, glass cart. so far I had no issues vaping the juice in any of my pens. I believe it also has something to do with the concentrate, while I'm pretty sure the 500mg and 1000mg will vape well in any kind of pen, the 2000mg and above is thicker and might need a strong coil & battery to vape properly. anyway, I see you've got some good advice on the subject from aatfoar. about concentrations - 1000mg is about 10 joints if smoking a +/-20% thc bud, assuming each joint is about 0.5 grams. some modern hybrids are above 90% thc of the total cannabinoids profile of the plant. land-race hash however, is much more diverse in it's cannabinoids profile with less thc:other cannabinoids(cbd,cbn,etc) ratio. therefor produce much more whole body effect than pure mind blow, with less chances of feeling over-whelmed and paranoia. If there is anything else I can add on the subject please let me know. cheers!

Ok so just thought I should say out loud, that I'd have spent a hell of alot more on this site if there were other crypto options. Since bitcoin price shot up, using bitpanda I can't buy less than 7g products. So that's vape carts, grams, 3.5g, edibles, all out the window unless I want 80 quids worth of any one product. Come on LB, sort this out because vendors are certainly losing out, aswell as us buyers

Yep I’m exactly the same.. the amount of times I’ve wanted to try something and been put off by fees is ridiculous. The only positive for me is that I’ve realised how much the local supply has improved over the past couple of years and it’s still £50 a Q but I’d still prefer to use the vendors here.
