Just a little note on this as a person with 20 years of delivery experience.
As most sellers print label off, and post in a box, when the boxes are emptied, RM seem to be buying themselves time by not scanning them, probably to avoid fines or refunds.
I had a parcel delivered to a pickup point recently, and the tracking went from recieved to delivered in the space of an hour.
Its an age old trick.
Even specials can be essentially ignored.
If you took parcels into PO and got them to scan them there and then, you'd likely get the service you paid for.
But......security wise, going into PO is a massive NO!
Be patient, and order in advance, but most importantly, be nice!
