Bad customer experience
I made an order with Canadian Imports on Thurs 27th Nov 2025. As of the time of this post Royal Mail tracking still shows "We are expecting it"
This is how I have been spoken and lied to....

Hey Family,

We have had 2 weeks of RM delays , couple parcels lost in the process due to backlogs and stuff. So it well may be , your items are delayed not by Canadian Imports but the Royal Mail itself. Since joining here , we only heard and read good things about Canadian Imports so far. You need to understand that , your funds are protected for 16 days and at any point if items not there by LB , you can always dispute and get resolution from Vendor or website just clicks aways. Hope this gets resolved with positive outcome !

Ive had T24 take 72 hours last week and some not being scanned into the system its royal mail at this time of year hopefully you get it sorted

How do you know you're being lied to? RM tends to grind to a halt at this time of year.

My order has not yet been scanned in RM system. So it hasn't been collected yet.

Hey DS, just to let you know I've had a couple of occasions where RM hasn't scanned in collected items straightaway, particularly at this time of year. I've had items *delivered* that RM apparently hadn't collected yet, and the RM info got updated later. I haven't used CI a lot but they're well respected here, and their products, comms and service have all been excellent for me. I know what it's like when you're waiting for something but with CI, and especially at this time of year, give it a few days. Best wishes 👍

i think perhaps you're expecting too much of RM. their systems aren't that accurate. it's quite possible that they have your parcel but their system is saying it's not scanned yet.

Ive had a couple orders these last 2 weeks that havnt been 'scanned' onto RM system, they still got delivered a couple days later, still not showing on RM system

Hey Family,

We have had issue at one RM depo for 4 days where they could not scan anything as software update has not been done properly on PDQ, took them 4-5 days to figure it out and now back to normal. Its literally same dates you ordered with Canadian Imports. We suggest many would have same outcome as yours if Canadian Imports were doing anything dodgy.. just message them politely and ask for resend or refund if you cannot wait longer . Stay positive

I will ask for a resend in a couple of days. On the off chance that it turns up soon. If I like the product, and I'm sure I will, I would like to continue using CI even though they have stated that they would prefer that I didn't do that lol

I don't think that CI are dodgy at all. I think CI could have explained to me about the PDQ thing themselves instead of being defensive and disrespectful to me.

Hey Family,

PDQ issue was near to us Depo so well could spread across , have faith and try to be more patient. RM always been slow this time of the year every year and its no hard to work out why, more people shopping especially on Black Friday , Cyber Monday all that stuff overwhelms their system, + you would think new owner of RM would make great changes to it , is all dream :))

Hope this resolves quick for you!

You are right I should have been a little more patient. But the fact RM didn't appear to have my order so I wanted to alert CI. But it took a wrong turn and got out of hand. I didn't expect that to be honest.

Hey Family,

You are not in wrong but just be more patient and calm in dealing with ur order. Vendors get stressed same way as you are if items not reaching you , end of the day we are the ones to take the loss if items not delivered or went missing. Have faith in LB :))

To clarify this customer was spoken to like this because of their previous post, they think they can take priority over other users or jump to the top of the list by making posts after it took a little over 12 hours for us to reply, yes we don't want this user to shop with us again while we hope they enjoy their order we don't like or need this type of customer that tries to rush us to respond, expects priority treatment over others and when we finally do reply refuses to accept Royal Mail might have some delays due to black Friday as we said your order should be with you soon if its not we cover all orders 100% so you don't have to worry but you do have to wait.

I don't expect special treatment.
I did expect to be able to track my order.
I should have been more patient. For that I apologies. 100+ orders and this has never happened to me before. Hopefully it never will again. But if it does I will do things differently without panicking.
I am a good customer, honest I am! XD
Can we please start over and put this behind us and move forward on the correct foot.
