lots of people hate on nfts and the like for creating a limited number of things (jpegs no less) when there is no need to.

but creators have rights too, at least human ones (rights not creators, that's a better post from an ai i think). copyright for instance goes back a long way. but its deeper than that especially if your name is attached to it forever. im not sure what that is but it is something and while i personally could give 2 fucks about my memetic excretions once they've popped out i do understand more retentive types.
